Sun Damage

Ethan Gent - In the Digital Era, Photography is constantly coming under fire. The creative powers granted to us, as photographers, have increased infinitely. Programs like Photoshop and Lightroom have convinced the public that photographs are quickly becoming more post processing than photography. People are now writing off the work photographers do, and my series Sun Damage is an introspective look at the honesty of a photograph-Whether it’s heavily processed or not.

 Each image is split into two halves. One of these halves is heavily processed; The other is barely processed.The trick, here, is to figure out which is which.
